Summary
The First Assistant Golf Professional will assist the Head Golf Professional in managing all daily golf related operations.
This position will also have the opportunity to work 20-25 hours a week in the center at M Health Fairview Sports Center.
Essential Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- The First Assistant Golf Professional will assist the Head Golf Professional in managing the overall daily golf operation
- Supervise and direct service staff during your shifts to ensure a positive experience that exceeds customer expectations
- Train, schedule and supervise Outside Service Staff
- Ability to effectively uphold golf course policies in a professional manner
- Assist with all aspects of the merchandise program, including special orders
- Administer designated leagues and small group events
- Opportunity to provide junior, group and private instruction
- Keep golf shop and work areas clean and organized
- Maintain and foster an environment, which facilitates the Exceeding Expectations (professional, responsive, leaders) philosophy of the City
