What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Attraction Marketing & Services position at City Pass?
The City Pass Attraction Services Department is seeking a highly motivated and personable individual to cultivate strong attraction partner relationships and develop tailored solutions to help them maximize CityPASS® sales and revenue. The ideal candidate will possess confidence, excellent communication skills, compassion, self-motivation, organization, and analytics expertise. This position will involve extensive Spring travel to large cities in which CityPASS attractions are located.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage strong partner relationships with box office and sales team staff at 40 attractions in six destinations in North America.
- Help attractions maximize CityPASS ticket card sales and QR code mobile sales at their entry.
- Work with each attraction to tailor a suite of CityPASS prepared point of sale materials (signage, price cards, rack cards) to support their onsite sales efforts.
- Strategize with our internal marketing team to create any customized messaging and facilitate the production and delivery of all materials.
- Identify opportunities to engage attractions in incentives to motivate their sales teams including commissions, contests and rewards.
- Regularly monitor attraction sales performance and connect with key attraction contacts regarding successes and opportunities.
- Conduct annual onsite sales trainings and strategic meetings with attractions in each destination.
- Schedule meetings and book travel to each market.
- Prepare materials for each attraction meeting and training.
- Organize catering for trainings and meetings as appropriate.
- Address all action items identified in meetings and prepare internal trip reports, tagging colleagues for follow-up.
- Visits generally occur between March 1 and Memorial Day.
- Each trip will require 4-7 days away and may include weekend trainings.
- Sales trainings often involve presentations in front of large teams.
- Act as a communication bridge between attractions and the company, ensuring smooth information flow and prompt response to inquiries. Facilitate introductions to team members in other City Pass departments.
- Represent the attraction perspective during internal strategy sessions.
- When new key contacts join attraction teams, conduct calls introducing them to CityPASS’ marketing efforts, the support we provide and best practice recommendations.

Training
Travel in year 1 will include joining and supporting other team members on attraction visits.
Job Location
City Pass has offices in Victor, ID, Avon, CO, and remote team members throughout the U.S. Candidates based in Teton Valley, ID and the greater Jackson, WY area, are preferred for periodic in person collaboration. Full remote is available for well qualified U.S. based candidates that are authorized to work in the U.S. – City Pass will not sponsor employment visas.
Education
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is expected. Additional education and certificates are a bonus.
