POSITION SUMMARY:
The Project Management Coordinator (PMC) will assist customers and project managers in daily traffic control and rental project schedules, as well as job costing, project evaluations, and weekly assessments. The position will schedule project timelines and provide support to customers, traffic technicians, warehouse, accounting departments, purchasing agents and dispatchers.
POSITION DUTIES:
· Capture and coordinate assigned customer requests for rentals, traffic control, permits or TCP’s.
· Participate and lead per-job meetings with customers and internal departments.
· Ensure that all projects are delivered or serviced on time, within scope and budget
· Ensure resource availability and allocation
· Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
· Work with customers and cities to coordinate and secure permits as necessary
· Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility
· Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
· Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
· Review and share project performance with the manager and other departments
· Report and escalate to management as needed
· Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
· Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation to track progress
· Review Traffic Plans
· Communicate job orders and personnel needs to Dispatch for scheduling
· Communicate equipment needs to Warehouse/ Inventory Manager
· Pre-job walks and post-job walks
· Assist in scheduling employees for projects when requests
· Assist with monitoring and following up on project job orders when requested
· Communicate all project changes to the right department
· Follow and adhere to Union Contract language
· Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
· Strong problem-solving skills

· Positive, can-do attitude in the face of adversity
· Extreme organizational skills
· Ability to accurately maintain financial and inventory records
· Ability to work with various computer systems
· Ability to work nights and weekends if needed
· Ability to multi-task and work in high-stress environments
· Previous experience in project management is preferred
· Previous experience in construction environment required
· Must be fluent in English/Bi-Lingual a plus
· Ability to work independently
