Job Summary :
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will play pivotal role within the team, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of the Eastern USA Business Unit. This primary position is a technical Outside Sales role, strategically focused on tier one prospecting, qualifying, and closing business. The RSM will be responsible for both acquiring new accounting and maximizing sales opportunities within existing strategic accounts in the designated geographic region outlined in ”company”.
Role Objective :
You'll be the linchpin of our sales efforts, collaborating closely with the SVP to target and capture tier one prospects while ensuring exceptional service to our valued clients. With a focus on the designated geographic region, you'll leverage your expertise to navigate complex sales cycles, utilizing both organic methods and provided leads to achieve outstanding results. Your role will involve local travel within the region, with occasional opportunities beyond based on strategic directives.
Key Responsibilities include the following :
- Create large account opportunities by utilizing direct and indirect company’s resources and products.
- Prospect for potential $100K / yr customers by leveraging professional network of contacts.
- Direct opportunities under $100K / yr. to AX Inside Sales or RCM.
- Outbound call generation and lead follow up. Understand buying influences in potential accounts.
- Accurate and timely forecasting.
