Job Description:
As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the HR department and managing all aspects of HR functions within the company. This includes talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and other strategic HR initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader who can develop, implement, and maintain HR practices that align with our company’s mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the recruitment and hiring processes, including developing job descriptions, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing the onboarding process.
- Oversee employee relations, ensuring that workplace issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices in compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Manage benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and employee wellness programs.
- Oversee the performance management process, including conducting performance reviews, setting goals, and providing feedback to employees.
- Advise and support managers and employees on HR-related issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and compliance matters.
- Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and confidential.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Drive employee engagement and retention programs to promote a positive workplace culture.
- Prepare and manage HR reports and metrics to provide insights on HR trends and organizational effectiveness.
- Manage HR-related projects as needed and assist with other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
- 2 years of experience in human resources management or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Experience with HR software and systems (e.g., HRIS, applicant tracking systems).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to drive organizational change and foster a positive work culture.
