Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Human Resources Manager with a proven track record in the manufacturing sector to join a fast-paced and growth-oriented organization. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic leadership, hands-on operational expertise, and people-centric solutions to support the company’s goals and drive its talent strategy forward. This role is confidential, and more details about the company will be shared with selected candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Design, develop, and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives, with a focus on the unique challenges and opportunities within a manufacturing environment.
  • Talent Management: Lead recruitment, retention, succession planning, and workforce development efforts to ensure the company attracts and retains top talent.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees by managing concerns confidentially and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Compliance & Policies: Oversee compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws, and ensure HR policies are up-to-date and properly communicated.
  • Performance Management: Oversee performance review processes and help implement coaching and feedback methodologies that promote employee development.
  • Labor Relations: Partner with operations leadership to manage labor relations effectively, including, but not limited to, union interactions and/or workforce engagement strategies, as applicable.
  • HR Metrics: Track, analyze, and report workforce trends and HR metrics to inform decision-making and improvement area


Requirements

Key Qualifications

  • Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • HR Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in senior or managerial roles. Experience in the manufacturing industry is mandatory.
  • Certifications: SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or related certifications are highly desired.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trust across diverse teams and levels.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven capacity to address complex workplace challenges with sound solutions and professional judgment.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with HRIS systems and standard productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems, etc.).


Must-Have Competencies

  • Deep understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations specific to the manufacturing sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Solid leadership, coaching, and team management skills to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with an ability to interpret workforce data to inform organizational strategy and practical HR applications.
