Job Summary
To provide early childhood special education services (ECSE) for young children with disabilities or developmental delay in family and community settings to children from ages 3-6.
Qualifications
- Must meet the State of Michigan Administrative Rules for Special Education R 340.1755.
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field of study is required.
- Valid Teaching Certificate.
- Endorsement in Special Education Teaching Area – ECSE, ZS. Multiple endorsements preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and positively with others.
- Demonstrate ability to provide leadership in curriculum development and individual student problems solving.
- Interest and knowledge in assistive technology and augmentative communication systems preferred.
