Summary of Excellence:
With guidance and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the Technology Solutions Manager is responsible for overseeing the Information Technology (IT) department and ensuring that the Bank’s technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. This role involves managing IT staff, planning and executing IT projects, and ensuring the security and integrity of our IT systems. The role leads the daily operations of the IT team, including team member development, and serves as the escalation point to technical resources within the IT department. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure all end-user technology is always maintained and available.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Leads and/or assists large Technology projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
Strategizes, manages, and delivers all network resources including but not limited to firewalls, routers, switches, servers, information security devices/systems, data/voice lines/circuits, and all related software/devices.
Develops, evaluates, monitors, and manages all hardware/software issues/concerns/malfunctions and delivers on solutions.
Develops and implements technology-related policies/procedures/best practices and trains all Bank employees effectively for their comprehensive roll out.
Identifies and strategizes on overall technology deliverables through strategic thought process vetting emerging technologies that may be available/applicable to the Bank. Brings the new/emerging technology solutions to the attention of the Executive Management along with the benefits outlined from such technological advancements.
Assures extreme high availability of all systems and connectivity at all times through redundancies/backups as needed.
Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop technology solutions.
Monitor, evaluate, and report on all technology vendors to optimize the cost-effectiveness and efficiency of the Bank.
Manages all users for all software, platforms, and portals for all employees/contractors/vendors at all times in a systematic process.
Provide all helpdesk type support needed by all employees/contractors/vendors to assure appropriate accesses are granted for their success on their jobs.
Manages, evaluates, directs, and develops all Technology Solutions Team members on their performance/skillset to be able to successfully carry out their functions effectively and efficiently.
Identifies, assesses, reports, and makes recommendations on all appropriate security concerns and issues to the Executive Management.
Develops and manages technology budget for appropriate allocation.
Develops, assesses, and manages the needs of the Bank and the Technology Solutions Department and makes recommendations on budgeting and resource allocation.
Safeguard all critical data from cybersecurity concerns reflecting appropriate security measures without negatively impacting user/customer experience.
Develops, monitors, and controls all technology assets for the Bank.
Hires, coaches, counsels, and disciplines all Technology Solutions Team members appropriately.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards in technology deliverables.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge through training, publications, personal and professional network.
Contributes to the Bank’s overall team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Education/Certification:
Secondary degree in technology or computer science
Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Five or more years of progressive responsibility in banking technology or information/cyber security field.
Experience in project management, application integrations, and cloud computing
Possess advanced knowledge of administration and security related to networks, systems, and banking technologies.
Experience with contracts, and vendor negotiations and management including managed services.
Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and technology policy/process management.
Ability to educate/train a non-technical audience about various technology and security measures.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Moderate physical effort required; normally seated with the freedom of movement on a regular basis; some lifting of light materials and supplies. Work involves a mixture of walking, sitting, and/or standing. Well-lighted and ventilated office environment, which are generally pleasant and comfortable. Minimal exposure to injury or other hazards with moderate level of noise.
