Clarity Partners is seeking a Human Resources Manager local Chicago, IL. The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of Clarity Partners’ HR practices and processes, including onboarding, compliance, benefits, total rewards, talent management and employee engagement. The ideal candidate is a team builder, team player, and leader who operates with a thoughtful strategic perspective, while embracing day-to-day activities of tactical HR functions. Responsibilities:
- Ensure operational excellence and efficiency of the entire Human Resources function.
- Collaborate with leadership to understand the firm’s goals and strategy related to human resources.
- Develop and implement streamlined HR strategies, processes and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy and enhance organizational performance.
- Identify areas for improvement within the organization, make recommendations, and engage in executing changes.
- Manage a cost-efficient benefits program to attract, retain, and reward top talent.
- Administer and develop compensation and benefits programs to achieve market competitiveness and internal equity while also recognizing and retaining top performers.
- Oversee office management and provide direct supervision to the Front Desk Specialist, ensuring efficient daily operations and a professional, welcoming environment.
- Monitor and ensure the firm’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices.
- Review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Develop innovative strategies to attract and retain a diverse pool of high-quality talent with the attributes to advance the needs of the business.
- Serve as a credible coach and confidante to leaders, as well as a strong employee advocate.
- Resolve and manage grievances; serve as a resource to deliver disciplinary action as needed.
- Foster a culture of transparency and accountability.
- Support the company’s diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Mentor, develop, and manage direct and indirect reports.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by participating in continuous education and networking.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 8 years of progressive experience as an HR professional with some management experience (a background in IT consulting or professional services is a plus).
- Strategic and operational thinking to drive scalable business growth.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to resolve complex, often ambiguous problems.
- Customer-focused attitude with a high level of professionalism.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective verbal and written communication to a broad demographic of employees.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects with minimal oversight.
- Positive and assertive interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work within stringent deadlines and to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to act with integrity and a high degree of confidentiality and discretion.
- Demonstrated experience working with an HRIS (Paylocity experience is a plus).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- PHR/SPHR certification is desired.
Clarity is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For the Human Resources Manager role, the base salary pay range is $100,000 - $130,000. The range represents a good faith estimate that Clarity reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of posting. Compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
