Key Functions of the role include:
Accounting Responsibilities:
- Send out new job forms and enter in eCMS accounting system and Textura (when applicable)
- Enter A/R Contracts and Change Orders in eCMS
- Monthly billings for most projects other than K12
- Balance A/R billings to Project Sight (roject management software) budget
- Set up budgets in Project Sight, prepare PCCO’s and issue for signature and Trade CO’s to be issued
- Check bank accounts daily for receipts and any irregularities
- Balance A/R to General Ledger
- Post cash receipts and pull payments for Trades
- Release payments when Textura and pull payments from Textura to eCMS
- Trade Contracts
- Issue Trade Contracts with appropriate documentation
- When signed by Trade, review for changes and send to Dave / Allen
- Track the return of fully executed Trade Contract
- Track Insurance and other Documents associated with Trade Contracts
- Trade Change Orders
- Issue Trade Change Orders as directed
- Track the return of fully executed change order
The ideal candidate:
- Has exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Works effectively independently and as part of a collaborative team (in person and remotely with Teams)
- Is advanced to expert level in MS Excel
- Has exceptional ability to follow through on information gathering and complete tasks
- Works well with cross functional team members and is customer service oriented.
- eCMS and/or General Contractor or Construction Management experience is a plus
- Analysis of current business needs and unlock potential of eCMS software.
- Proficient with 3rd party software and data migration to ERP
