What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deputy Prosecuting Attorney position at Clark County Government?
The Clark County Prosecuting Attorney is seeking a full-time deputy prosecuting attorney. This deputy prosecutor will be primarily responsible for prosecuting misdemeanor and/or Level 6 felonies. The position requires working with a team of mutiple other deputy prosecutors on a daily basis to coordinate schedules and court duties. The position requires an absolute commitment to excellence, a diligent work ethic, and a strong passion for obtaining justice and keeping the community safe.
Qualifications
Doctor of Jurisprudence degree and a license to practice law in the state of Indiana.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as proficient computer skills.
Ability to work both independently and work well with others as a team player.
The salary is $100,000.00, and county benefits are available.
