Clark County Indiana is seeking a Highway Department Bridge Foreman. The person who serves in this full-time non-exempt position is responsible for maintaining County Bridges, Roads, and coordinating and directing work crews. A detailed job description is attached. This job requires that the incumbent respond to emergencies on a 24-hour basis and work overtime as needed. The primary hours are Monday - Friday 7 am to 3:30 pm. Applicants must have either a high school diploma or GED and have knowledge of vehicles and equipment used to load and haul materials, clear roads in winter and related safety procedures. Possession of a valid State Driver's license, a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and demonstrated safe driving record is required.
