As a Medical Assistant, your job responsibilities would include but aren't limited to:
- Taking and recording vital signs and medical histories
- Preparing patients for examination
- Drawing blood
- Administering medications as directed by the physician
- Authorize drug refills and provide prescription information to pharmacies
- Collect laboratory specimens and prepare them for testing
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior Medical Assistant experience
- Certified Medical Assistant, preferred
- Athena experience a plus!
