ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide the highest level of customer service.
- Answer phones and schedule design appointments.
- Assist homeowners with stone, edge profile, and sink selections.
- Mark materials for hold from customer selections.
- Maintain the Material Hold Log by updating customer holds as needed.
- Communicate with the Purchasing Department daily to maintain optimal inventory levels.
SCHEDULE:
- Monday – Friday schedule with occasional evening hours (some Tuesdays and Thursdays until 7pm), and every other Saturday required.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of two years of customer service experience.
- Knowledge of countertops or cabinetry is preferred but not required.
REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to solve practical problems and address a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Intuitive ability to anticipate and address potential issues.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and vendors. Must speak fluent English.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Regular activities include stooping, reaching, standing, sitting, walking, talking, hearing, and handling.
