What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Administrative Assistant - Shipping Department position at Classical Numismatic Group, Inc. (CNG)?
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage shipping staff and provide support to customer service staff
- Telephone and e-mail communication with customers regarding invoices, payment methods, and shipping scheduling or issues
- Domestic and International shipping and receiving of small parcels
- Ensure shipments are sent in a timely manner by being organized and working efficiently
- Address any domestic and international shipment issues, and work with customer and carries to solve the problem
- Proof invoices
- Speak to carriers about shipping rates and work to minimize expenses while maintaining quality service.
- Analyze shipping data to identify areas of improvement
- Scheduling and packing shipments for shows by coordinating with staff and/or show director
- Create labels for consignor shipments and possible return shipments
- Catalog mailing
- Assisting with Trade Show scheduling and reservations
- Other duties as required
Administrator Responsibilities Include:
- Work with suppliers and vendors to schedule services needed for the office
- Order office supplies
- Take proactive steps to assist in automating workflow
- Other duties as required
This role requires someone who is organized, detail orientated, and has computer and leadership skills. This individual will be managing and assisting a small team to accomplish all goals in the shipping/customer service department. They will also need to ensure the smooth operations of the office. CNG is a growing company and there is long term growth potential within the company.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
