What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager - Construction Owner's Representative position at Clausen Management Services, Inc.?
Our firm has been in business 15 years, and provides high-end Owner’s Representative Services for a variety of national/international clients in the Chicago area. Our projects include high-end hospitality and entertainment venues, multi-family residential, new construction, and a variety of other Commercial Projects.
We are seeking a full-time Senior Project Manager with an Architecture or Construction Management degree and a minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
Job responsibilities will include creating and managing schedules and budgets, managing design and consultant teams from preconstruction through construction including proposal review and contracts, coordination of utilities, attending/leading various weekly meetings, client interface, and coordination of preconstruction work in the field.
As projects enter the construction phase, the successful candidate will provide typical Owner’s Representative services such as coordination of outside work, payment and change order review and approval, site observations, and continued management of all team members from start of construction through close-out. Key skills include:
- Skills in creating and managing budgets and schedules.
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, Teams, Microsoft Project
- Experience managing Architects and Engineers through design phase
- Experience reviewing contracts and issuing bid solicitations
- Construction Phase management experience
Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
