Clay Cooley Auto Group is looking for experienced, detail-oriented, self-motivated, reliable Billers for our dealerships. These individuals must be proficient in principles and terminology of automotive/dealership accounting. It is essential to understand the significance of deadlines and the ability to apply the appropriate level of urgency to all tasks.
We are evaluating applicants with experience in the following areas:
Billing
- Posts new and used car deals to accounting books.
- Verify the accuracy and validity of all documents, accounts, and values before submitting to accounting.
- Confirms sales commissions and submits to payroll for semi-monthly cutoffs.
- Validates and submits payoffs to lienholders to secure titles for applicable trades.
- Reviews and maintains the assigned accounting schedule.
Employee Prerequisites:
- High School Diploma; College Degree a plus
- 3-5 years dealership experience and extensive knowledge of accounting duties
- Excellent computer skill levels (Internet and MS Outlook); Tekion experience is plus, but not required.
- Competence to manage in a high influx call/email environment and aptitude to transition from one task to another effectively and concisely.
- Ability to work well both individually and as part of a team.
- Flexible schedule to work full-time with varying extended hours during accounting cutoff periods.
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic
