As a Park Maintenance employee, you will perform general maintenance, repair and upkeep of systems in County owned Marina structures, water access ramps, buildings, and grounds. Our current opening requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Duties could include maintaining Marina structures, Marina access points, Courtesy Docks, Boat Ramps, facility grounds and equipment using power tools, hand tools, boats, barges, mowers, trimmers, trucks, lifts and tractors and snow and ice removal. Since the days will be spent outdoors the ability to work in outdoor conditions of extreme heat or cold for lengths of time is also necessary.
The hourly salary is $16.82 plus benefits. The employee benefits package includes two defined benefit retirement plans fully funded by the County and a deferred-compensation plan with a match on the first 6% contributed. We also offer three medical plans including two high deductible plans, dental, vision, two flexible spending accounts, and supplemental plans. Full-time employees are also offered life insurance (2X annual salary) paid by the County, paid vacation/sick leave, 14.5 paid holidays, LTD and tuition reimbursement.
