We are seeking a part-time office assistant for three affiliated companies located in the Henry County, Indiana area. The Office Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support, creating and maintaining documents, and assisting with daily operations of three companies and other potential ventures.
Some duties include:
· Greet customers in person and on the telephone
· Prepare documents and emails
· Create and maintain files
· Research Sam.gov to find contract opportunities and ensure compliance
· Schedule meetings and send invitations to attendees
· Make sure office is kept neat and orderly
· Assist with light cleaning as necessary
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
· Professional demeanor and customer service mindset
· Working knowledge of computer hardware and software, including Microsoft, Adobe, Apple Pages, internet and social media platforms
· Verbal and written communication skills and a good command of the English language in order to interact with clients and business leaders in a professional manner
· Ability to maintain integrity, privacy and confidentiality
· Superior organization and time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Minimum Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent required
· Valid driver’s license required
Minimum Physical Requirements/Working Environment:
· Job involves standing, sitting or walking. Generally quiet, indoor environment.
· Must be able to speak and hear to communicate with customers and potential clients.
Schedule and Hours: Part-time, 15-25 hours as needed
Pay Range: $13-15/Hour
