What are the responsibilities and job description for the Job Coach Supervising /Training Adults with Special Needs- M-F position at Clear Choice Staffing Inc?
LIFE SKILLS COACH is best described as a position for a person that wants a fulfilling job helping adults with learning disabilities learn a new skill to help them with everyday life.
The pay is $18.00 hr. will train. This is a 7 hour work day M-F. Total of 35 hours a week.
We are looking for candidates that would Enjoy working in an awesome, happy environment. You do not need any special skills other than the desire to help others.
*NOTE; There is Not any personal hygiene care or dispensing of medication*
Summary of this position:
Arrive at work to be greeted by "Your" group of adults. The day consists of helping the adults with a variety of topics such as crafts, reading or basic math and other busy activities for the adults. There are occasional outings to the library, maybe the park or to exercise classes using a company SUV.
- Must be 21 yrs. old with a VALID California License to drive a SUV to outings
- Must enjoy being around adults with special needs
- Lead by example, great attendance
- Pass a Criminal Background Screening in accordance with State Law
Shift is Monday-Friday 7:30 am-3 pm. OR 8:00am -3:30pm . Lunch is 30 minutes.
