Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled HiDef Support Lead to spearhead a technical and business-driven contractor team in developing and deploying the HiDef tool, a government-wide procurement data aggregation solution. This individual will serve as a strategic advisor to the General Services Administration (GSA) and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), ensuring the successful rollout and adoption of the HiDef tool across federal procurement professionals.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in government procurement, acquisition data analytics, and technology solutions, as well as experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced federal contracting environment.
- Act as a trusted Subject Matter Expert (SME) and strategic advisor to GSA and OMB, guiding the development and implementation of the HiDef tool.
- Provide insights and recommendations on government-wide procurement data aggregation, analytics, and acquisition strategy development.
- Engage with key stakeholders across federal agencies to drive adoption and optimize the tool’s impact on procurement decision-making.
- Lead a highly technical and business-driven contractor team in delivering innovative procurement data solutions.
- Oversee the development, integration, and deployment of the HiDef tool, ensuring it meets technical and functional requirements.
- Collaborate with IT, procurement, and policy teams to align the solution with government-wide acquisition priorities.
- Manage the rollout, training, and change management efforts to ensure effective adoption of the HiDef tool by procurement professionals.
- Coordinate with agency procurement offices, data analysts, and technology teams to gather user requirements and feedback for continuous improvement.
- Develop communication strategies, presentations, and training materials to support government-wide engagement and tool utilization.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with federal acquisition regulations and data governance policies.
- Establish best practices and performance metrics to measure the tool’s effectiveness and drive continuous enhancements.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to validate functionality and ensure alignment with GSA and OMB objectives.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience and expert knowledge of the joint GSA and OMB (or similar federal experience) Hi-Def Initiative
- Experience in government procurement, federal acquisition data analytics, or IT-enabled procurement solutions.
- Knowledge of the pain points and best practices of current acquisition technologies/ processes, and experience using this knowledge to support government-wide procurement initiatives;
- Experience working with GSA and OMB (or similar federal experience) on implementation of government-wide procurement-related policy;
- Experience with the development of technologies used to aggregate complex data sets- including BIC and TDR- to inform decision-making
- Knowledge of federal data standards, business intelligence tools, and analytics platforms.
- Experience working with GSA (or similar federal experience) stakeholders, including GSA IT and the Cloud Advisory Working Group, to integrate new technologies into the existing GSA (or similar federal experience) infrastructure and processes
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
