TeleSolv Consulting has an opportunity to work with the Federal Government as a Hi-Definition Intelligent Acquisition Data Environment Support Lead. This role is hybrid (Please only apply if you live locally and are willing to commute on-site).
Duties / Responsibilities:
The Hi-Definition Intelligent Acquisition Data Environment (HiDef) Support Lead will be responsible for leading a highly technical and business-minded contractor team in support of the GSA HiDef effort, which provide a technology solution to aggregate government-wide procurement data and provide procurement professionals across the government with the data necessary to develop informed acquisition strategies and decisions. This SME will be responsible for serving as an advisor to GSA and OMB on the development and roll out of the HiDef tool to procurement professionals across the government.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience and expert knowledge of the joint GSA and OMB (or similar federal agency experience)
- Hi-Def Initiative - Knowledge of the pain points and best practices of current acquisition technologies/processes, and experience using this knowledge to support government-wide procurement initiatives
- Experience working with GSA and OMB (or similar federal agency experience) on implementation of government-wide procurement-related policy;
- Experience with the development of technologies used to aggregate complex data sets- including Best-In-Class (BIC) and Transactional Data Reporting (TDR)- to inform decision-making
- Experience working with GSA (or similar federal agency experience) stakeholders, including GSA IT and the Cloud Advisory Working Group, to integrate new technologies into the existing GSA (or similar federal agency experience) infrastructure and processes
- Must be proficient in working within the Hadoop and Spark ecosystem.
- Must be proficient in the use of R, Scala, or Python programming languages within the Spark framework.
- Must also be proficient with SPARK SQL.

Background Investigation:
This position requires that you obtain a background investigation from our client. As part of this process, the government will perform a criminal, credit, tax, employment, and drug history background check. The government has varying tolerances, with mitigating circumstances, for issues in all of the categories. The government is essentially looking to confirm that you are generally in good financial standing, up to date on your tax filings, rehire eligible with your prior employers, and have adhered to any federal restrictions on illegal drug use, including marijuana, in addition to other checks related on your character and trust worthiness.
