Join Clemens Food Group as a Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) Intern for the summer of 2025, where you'll gain hands-on experience in day-to-day plant operations and FSQA tasks. This is a unique opportunity to perform quality assessments related to product specifications, quality interventions, team member practices, sanitation, and more. As an intern, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams on FSQA-related projects that contribute to our goal of producing safe and high-quality food products. Additionally, you will have the chance to participate in group activities with other interns, learn about Clemens’ business processes, and immerse yourself in the company culture and values.

Responsibilities
As an FSQA Intern, you will:
- Perform quality assessments on product specifications, team member practices, sanitation, and other FSQA-related tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute FSQA-related projects, supporting our goal of producing safe, high-quality food.
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements related to product quality and operational efficiency.
- Participate in the analysis of quality interventions and contribute to the optimization of FSQA protocols.
- Gain hands-on experience with plant operations and contribute to ensuring food safety compliance.

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a senior undergraduate or in a graduate program, ideally pursuing a degree in Animal Science, Meat Science, Food Science, or a related field.
- Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to multitask and manage various tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools or SAP systems is a plus, but not required.
Location and Commitment
This is a 10-week, full-time, on-site internship located at our Hatfield, PA facility. Interns will work approximately 40 hours per week.
