As the Harvest Superintendent, you will be a cornerstone in driving operational efficiency and ensuring the Safety, Animal Welfare, Food Safety, Quality, and Financial performance of the operation. You will also be a key leader in the facility's relationship with USDA. Working alongside cross-functional teams, you’ll foster a culture of continuous improvement, encourage innovative problem-solving, and ensure plant systems remain robust and reliable. You’ll oversee budgets, manage capital projects, and prioritize team engagement and development to elevate team performance.
Hours – 6 AM – 4:00 PM (Approximate. The Harvest Superintendent is expected to be available until the Harvest is completed) Saturday coverage as needed.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead a Harvest Operations Team – Lead and mentor a team of Supervisors and Team Members, ensuring coverage, team development, and driving KPI improvements.
- Budget & Resource Management – Administer the operational budget, including labor and materials, oversee capital projects, and identify cost-saving measures.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives – Foster a culture of innovation through root cause analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic problem-solving to enhance plant operations.
- Oversee daily production operations through the Clemens Food Group management operating system, product audits, and investigations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure a culture within your team where compliance with HACCP/SSOP, safety regulations, and quality control standards are met and prioritized
- Use continuous improvement tools to identify process enhancements, support team engagement, and meet production schedules.
