Regulatory Compliance is essential in ensuring Cleveland Clinic continues to provide patients with unparalleled care. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the implementation and maintenance of the Fire Marshall programs by planning, developing and upholding systems and procedures. You will serve as a liaison between the Regulatory Compliance team and outside communities, demonstrating strong communication and leadership skills.
A caregiver in this position works from 8:00AM – 4:30PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Develop, implement, manage and maintain fire prevention operational systems and risk mitigation activities.
- Serve as a liaison with all levels of the organization and outside agencies.
- Manage multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines and allocate time to meet completion requirements.
- Serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
- Review and monitor adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures.
- Assist with EOC Mock Surveys, Life Safety Assessments and Continuous Readiness rounding when applicable.
- Performs data input to obtain metric goals.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Life Safety or related field
- Six years of related experience in fire and life safety and review of construction documents OR a Master’s Degree and four years of related experience
- Knowledge of statistical and financial analysis, primary research and business plan development
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Master’s Degree
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM), Certified Healthcare Emergency Professional (CHEP), Certified Fire Inspector II, and/or other safety certification
- Previous work experience in fire and life safety or healthcare

Physical Requirements:
- Manual dexterity to operate office equipment

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $40.48
Maximum hourly: $61.74
