Laundry for Property Management

Overview

Must be able to be at work between 9-3 pm daily and 4 days a week and Sunday from 12 pm to 6 pm. You should live close to our location either in Cleveland, Cornelia, or Clarkesville.
The Laundry position is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens, garments, and other textiles within our facility. This role involves operating laundry equipment, ensuring that all items are properly cleaned, pressed, and presented according to our high standards. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail to ensure that every item meets our quality expectations.

Duties

• Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder various fabrics.
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to established procedures.
• Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed for delicate or specialty items.
• Inspect laundered items for stains or damages and take appropriate action.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Follow safety protocols while handling chemicals and operating machinery.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of laundry services.

Skills

• Experience in dry cleaning processes is preferred.
• Familiarity with hotel laundry operations is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure all items are clean and presentable.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational skills to manage multiple loads of laundry effectively.
• Basic knowledge of fabric care instructions and laundering techniques.
