Banquet Set-up

Position: Banquet Set-up

Wage: $15/hour

Summary: Responsible for the successful set-up, break down and servicing of banquets, functions and meetings while providing superior guest service.

Duties and Responsibilities: (Specific areas of responsibility included, but not limited to)

• Adhere to all casino and departmental policies and procedures
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Set-up and tear-down as instructed for meeting, banquets and functions.
• Ensure proper handling of equipment during set-up and break-down to minimize wear and tear.
• Notify Banquet Captain of incidents or conflicts that affect normal business operation or guest services.
• Ensure functions are set fifteen minutes prior to start time.
• Ring up Food & Beverage orders as needed.
• Ensure a maximum level of service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained.
• Attention to cleanliness of the Front and Back of the House
• Attend all meetings and training as required
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Must be at least 19 years of age
• Must possess excellent communication skills and guest service
• Ability to work in a fast pace atmosphere
• Must maintain a professional appearance
• Must possess the physical and mental stamina to perform responsibilities
• Must be physically able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
• Must posses mature judgment and the ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
• Must be able to work when required including weekends, holidays, evenings and special events
• Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must attend State, Federal, Tribal, Casino and Department mandatory trainings and pass

any applicable testing
