POSITION: Human Resources Employment Specialist
WAGE: $18/HOUR
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for full lifecycle recruitment to fill assigned positions to include managing job description inventory, developing and maintaining multiple sourcing networks to build candidate pool. Design and implement innovative recruitment strategies. Regular interaction with managers and candidates, utilizing an applicant tracking system to track the interviewing, hiring and evaluation process, and negotiation of employment offers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Confers with managers and supervisors to identify current and future staffing needs.
- Manages job description inventory.
- Actively partners with managers and supervisors to track candidate status through the interview and selection process.
- Partners with Marketing to establish an effective advertising strategy.
- Makes public presentations at schools, organizations, and job fairs regarding the organization and opportunities.
- Tracks and monitors applicant and hiring statistics to identify trends and responds with effective strategies to increase recruiting success.
- Files and maintains employment records for future reference.
- Maintains professional awareness of and adherence to industry standards, best practices, as well as documentation requirements and confidentiality.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Opportunities for Internships, Apprenticeships, and Coordinated Work Study programs may be available in lieu of formal education and work experience requirements for this position for enrolled members of the Yavapai-Apache Nation.
1. Education: Associates Degree in business or management preferred
2. Work Experience: Two (2) years’ experience in recruiting or staffing. One (1) year work experience with applicant tracking system.
3. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
a. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other HR database systems.
b. Able to type 45 wpm.
c. Strong communication skills (written/verbal) and be able to effectively communication information one-on-one, to small/large groups.
d. Able to maintain professional composure to deescalate tense situations to resolve conflicts and concerns.
4. Have valid driver’s license and be insurable by our insurance carrier.
5. Be at least 18 years of age.
6. Able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the U.S.
7. Participate and pass pre-employment drug screening and background investigation to obtain and maintain a valid Gaming License.
