Summary

  • JOB SUMMARY
    • The Supervisor–Clinics, under the direction of the Clinic Manager, ensures efficient and effective operations of assigned Clinics on a day-to-day basis.  Manages and supervises all clinic operations and support staff in assigned departments.  Works in a collaborative manner with all team members and promotes excellent communication.  Performs select office functions as assigned. The Supervisor is expected to demonstrate professionalism, responsibility, organization, ability to manage, supervise, delegate, communicate, problem solve, make decisions and function independently.
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Management or healthcare administration related field and one (1) year of Supervisory experience; OR (see experience).
    • Experience: Five (5) years of healthcare experience

  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Education: N/A
    • Experience: Healthcare related work experience.  Office experience including supervisory experience.

  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
    • Knowledge of supervision principles. Technical competence using Windows and word processing tools.  Ability to work independently, organize and manage multiple tasks/priorities and meet deadlines. Knowledge of clinic scheduling, registration, reimbursement, billing and documentation. Proficiency with PCs, Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project). Excellent verbal and written communication skills, teaching ability and problem solving skills. Professionally motivated.

    • READING - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
    • WRITING - Intermediate: Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, or procedures.
    • SPEAKING - Intermediate: Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group situations or before groups of customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
    • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Basic Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
    • REASONING ABILITY - Intermediate Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Additional Information

Eventually will be added to the leadership urgent care call pool covering weekend call 1-3 weekends per year.  Generally no weekends, but work may be required based on needs/demands of the position.
