**Job Description**
- The ideal candidate will conduct clinical speech and language pathology services, including patient evaluation, interpretation of evaluation results, and intervention relating to various diagnoses for pediatric, child, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Assess and treat language/speech and swallowing impairments resulting from neurological insult/disease, developmental disabilities and delays, impaired oral motor abilities or laryngeal functions, dehydration/malnutrition, or change in anatomy secondary to trauma or surgery.
- Communicate with physicians and other referral sources and provide clinical guidance to non-licensed personnel.
- Work with various healthcare team members and administer contrast media under the direct supervision of the attending radiologist during videofluoroscopy.
**Requirements**
- Five years of active licensed clinical SLP experience required.
- Competent in 2-3 of the following areas: Bedside Swallow Evaluation, Videofluoroscopy, Blue Dye Swallow Evaluation.
- Current California licensure as an Speech Language Pathologist.
- BLS Required.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA.
