Description
CSO is looking for a Human Resources Scheduling & Staffing Coordinator to join our team.
The Human Resources Scheduling & Staffing Coordinator will undertake and implement various staffing solutions such as recruitment, scheduling, and staffing report preparations. They are also responsible for the orientation and placement of newly hired relief employees as part of a centralized relief pool.
As an HR Scheduling & Staffing Coordinator:
You Will:
- Plan, organize and implement sustainable staffing strategies.
- Investigate agency’s relief staffing needs and take actions to staff accordingly.
- Monitor and communicate with 24-hour programs regarding staffing coverage needs and work with managers to provide coverage from centralized relief pool.
- Guide new hires through the pre-employment and onboarding process; ensure new relief employees are appropriately oriented to the agency, conducting orientations.
- Assist with the design and planning of work shift schedules as appropriate to program requirements.
- Maintain and track availability for all relief pool staff.
- Use scheduling software to track work schedules for relief pool staff across programs and work sites.
- Coordinate and schedule prospective relief candidates for interviews; participate in the interview process as applicable.
- Coordinate and attend in-house and external job fairs including promoting the CSO brand, screening candidates, inputting their information into appropriate systems, and building a relationship in an effort to drive in qualified talent.
- Conduct a variety of sourcing techniques to expand sourcing network including, but not limited to, job board postings, partnering with and marketing to educational institutions, social media marketing, resume mining, targeted search methods as well as in-person networking in the community.
- Act as a champion for CSO’s employment brand across the organization by creating opportunities to engage current team members to learn how to best promote the agency as an exciting place to work and to utilize team members as talent and recruitment advocates; promote the employee referral program by engaging with existing team members and following up timely on all referrals.
- Provide a high level of internal customer service by responding to hiring manager inquiries timely and professionally while keeping them updated on the scheduling process.
- Ensure compliance with agency standards, policies/procedures and local, state and federal laws and regulations surrounding employment and recruiting processes.

Qualifications
Your Background:
- Associate’s Degree
- Two or more years in a related field or equivalent training and experience in HR
- Previous scheduling experience (healthcare industry preferred)
- Computer proficiency
- Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation
