JOB OBJECTIVE
The primary responsibility of the Accounting Technician–Payroll/Payables is the processing of Payroll and of Accounts Payable invoices for the company. This position reports to and works under the supervision of the Controller.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Payables Duties:
- Processes invoices for payment in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Processes check requests and employee travel and entertainment expense reports.
- Ensures appropriate approval levels are present before processing invoices for payment.
Other Duties:
- Consistently meets deadlines per Finance calendar and month/year-end protocol.
- Prepares various financial and operational reports for senior management.
- Adheres to HIPPAA confidentiality and security measures.
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in work. Meets productivity standards.
- Interacts in a professional manner and works collaboratively with Clinicas’ staff, management and peers
- Perform other duties as assigned including participation in all safety programs which may include assignment to an emergency response team.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma is required. Must have a minimum of one year of experience in bookkeeping, payroll, payables, or other financial area. ADP Processing experience is a plus. Experience with Word and Excel is required.

Pay: $21.00 - $29.12 per hour
