Summary:
The Technical Bid & System Support role assists internal and external customers with technical questions related to products and applications. Assist with the maintenance and updating of proprietary computer system.
Responsibilities/Principal Duties:
Provide assistance to customers with regards to specification interpretation, and technical information related to products. Inform and engage the customer in the proper application of our products, with regulatory standards
Assist with the updating and maintenance of computer pricing system.
Provide support related to pricing and size tables, new product integration within system and logical application of items.
Work independently or with outside sales force as required on complicated projects
Assist all departments in efficient communication with internal and external customers; maintain positive customer, vendor, and coworker relationships
Use Microsoft Office products such as Work, excel and Outlook and other databases to communicate, relay messages and information.
Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications:
Associate's degree or 5 years inside sales experience within the construction products industry or technical customer service desired but not required.
Strong communication skills, telephone skills, and analytical skills needed.
Must work effectively with other areas of the organization as well as independently with a high level of accuracy
Exercise independent judgement and discretion with authority to commit Company resources.
Ability to communicate with multi-departments and external customers for the purpose of obtaining information, advising the customer, solving problems, and explaining pertinent information to other areas of the Company.
Proficient in the use of tools available in the Company pricing and order entry system.
Salary : $62,000 - $103,000
