We are currently seeking an Inside Sales and Project Coordinator who will report to the Cloud5 Vice President of Sales to drive growth in our successful Event Services business. The manager will engage hotels to sell and support technology requirements for events hosted at these properties and upsell where appropriate. The manager will be responsible for coordinating delivery of services, managing client relationships, and driving growth through sales of services.
ROLE SUMMARY:
The Inside Sales and Project Coordinator is responsible for selling and providing dedicated customer service to clients by executing event communication and audio-visual services that deliver on client needs and expectations. The Events Sales and Project Manager will sell the client on services, upsell additional services, organizes, and executes specific technology services, including planning, onsite setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of technology equipment, and communication services, to enable a seamless participant and client experience. Along with maintaining the highest levels of customer support and client satisfaction.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, but are not limited to:

Conducts outreach to management and event staff at properties that Cloud5 currently supports and those that are added each year creating awareness of our services.

Actively prospect to find, develop and grow relationships at priority properties to develop relationship, understand property event schedules and pro-actively drive expanded service.

Setting appointments for virtual meetings and needs assessments.

Represent Cloud5 as primary point of contact for property staff.

Close sales to meet or exceed quota expectations.

Responds to in-bound requests for event support, scoping requirements and customer priorities.

Collaborate with Event Managers to determine technology needs for events; support vendor sourcing as needed.

Explore opportunities to upsell the client.

Conduct weekly planning meetings and work with internal Cloud5 technical and customer support teams to assure all requirements are understood and scoped appropriately.

Monitor project timelines and task allocations - updating management tools with status for assigned activities in real time.

Develop and maintain standard operational processes and quality assurance procedures to build operating efficiencies, best practices, and lessons learned.

Maintain log of company equipment shipped to properties and support purchase requests for inventory.

Provides instructions for the operation of equipment to internal and external users.

Assist with conducting venue market research and site surveys.

Contributes to client progress and status reports (i.e., monthly reports, weekly registration metrics, etc.)

Accurately manage and maintain sales and customer documentation.

Prepare and maintain project file folders with all completed work products, artifacts, and deliverables.

Stay up to date on necessary technology and processes and show initiative in capturing, documenting, and implementing best practices and lessons learned to improve quality and efficiency of services and solutions.

Process billing of events on at least a weekly basis.

Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Previous B2B experience in hospitality, telecommunications or internet services.

Comfortable and capable of contacting, setting appointments, and selling to prospects.

Desire to drive your own income based on your efforts.

Ability to set goals and the persistence to reach them.

Willingness to listen, learn and follow company polices and best practices.

Excellent verbal and written communications.

Good PC skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Ability to work independently, and partner across the wider business in a fast-paced environment.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Generally, works in an office environment but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting.
Typical hours are 8:30am – 5:30 pm Local Time; Rare but occasional customer support on weekends during events.
