Position: Event Planner / Coordinator
Employment Type: Full-Time 30-40 hours
Clouds, a European coffee shop and events venue, is seeking an organized and creative Event Coordinator/Supervisor to lead our themed events (dinners, breakfasts, brunches, and more) and private events. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for event planning and hospitality to take a leading role in delivering exceptional experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Plan and Execute Events: Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of Clouds' themed events and private bookings.
- Lead the Event Team: Supervise and manage staff during events to ensure smooth operations and a high standard of service.
- Guest Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for event clients, addressing their needs and ensuring a memorable experience.
- Event Design: Collaborate with the team to develop unique concepts and details for themed events that reflect Clouds’ brand.
- Set-Up and Tear-Down: Coordinate event setup and breakdown, ensuring all elements are in place and handled efficiently.
- Private Event Management: Work closely with clients to customize private events, including menu selection and logistics.
- Scheduling : Manage event schedules.
- Collaboration with the Kitchen Team: Work with the chef to coordinate food and beverage service for events.
- Problem Solving: Address any issues that arise during events to ensure they run smoothly.
Qualifications
- Available to work 30-40h per week including weekends.
- Proven experience in event coordination, hospitality management, or a similar role.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Creativity and attention to detail to create unique and engaging event experiences.
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality.
- Familiarity with European cuisine is a plus.
- Theater or public speaking experience is a plus.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
