Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Meriden, CT. In this role, you will manage payroll and benefits administration, support employee relations, assist with recruitment and onboarding, ensure compliance with labor laws, and contribute to performance management and employee development. Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll accurately and timely, addressing discrepancies and collaborating with finance for reporting.
• Administer employee benefits programs, guiding employees and ensuring cost-effective plan management.
• Foster positive employee relations, resolving issues and supporting managers with performance concerns.
• Assist in recruiting top talent and conducting effective onboarding for new hires.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and maintain accurate HR records and metrics.
• Support performance reviews and implement training and development initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5 years of HR experience, with a focus on payroll and benefits administration, preferably in aerospace manufacturing.
• Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex) and HR software (HRIS).
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices (OSHA, FLSA, ADA, EEO).
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
