Clover Leaf Solutions is seeking a Technical Writer to provide unclassified and classified communication services to support National Technology and Engineering Solutions of Sandia, LLC (NTESS). This role involves technical writing, editing, and creative design to support projects on an as-needed basis, ensuring adherence to configuration and information management plans, as well as NTESS policies and standards.
This position is located near Sandia National Laboratories in New Mexico, with a requirement to maintain a local office within 30 miles of NTESS.
Responsibilities
- Provide unclassified and classified communication services, including technical writing, editing, and creative design.
- Ensure adherence to relevant configuration and information management plans, and the established NTESS "common look and feel."
- Comply with NTESS internal information release and document classification policies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to produce high-quality written materials and presentations.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation according to NTESS standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Technical Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- 4 years of relevant writing experience, including technical and creative writing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance ("L", "Q", or "Sigma 15").
- Ability to access and travel to NTESS locations as required.
- Familiarity with NTESS processes and procedures (preferred).
- Experience in writing and editing within classified environments (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with diverse teams (preferred).
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines (preferred).
