GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary This is a great opportunity to join our IT department based at our Evans, GA location. Your role will be to provide prompt and accurate technical support, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and applying company standards.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsibilities
- Perform Windows based computer and mobile device support within an office/manufacturing plant environment; support remotely to users working from home; and in some remote countries.
- Imaging PC’s to a required Windows 11 OS using imaging keys or PXE.
- Supporting or performing MS Office and Outlook configuration and troubleshooting Office 365, MS Teams software installation and configuration; new user set up; printer and network file share configuration and troubleshooting; peripheral installation, configuration and troubleshooting; and computer/user moves, adds, and changes.
- Support enterprise applications including installation, escalate to application owners as needed.
- Perform Xerox and Zebra based troubleshooting and device support.
- Setting up IT equipment and support in office moves and reconfiguration of office layouts to support the networked office/manufacturing plant spaces
- Perform project related tasks including installing network hardware/IP telephony and working with Vendors
- Manage/tracking assets include replacement and refresh, working with procurement.
- Responsible for reviewing trouble ticket queues, documenting support and diagnostic activities, escalating problems as required.
- Accurately and effectively resolving and closing assigned trouble tickets in accordance with SLA requirements.
- Need to demonstrate a capability to adapt to a complex multicultural environment
- Will be presented with projects with limited scopes and must be able to work independently as well as others on these projects with minimum supervision.
- This position will require general guidance, milestone reviews.
- The ability to work in cross regional team of other Field service technicians
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience:
- Experience with providing customer support for Windows based computers in a networked environment, including experience performing computer hardware, software, break/fix, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with supporting MS Office products (or other shrink-wrap software applications) including experience using a commercial trouble ticketing system (such as ServiceNow) and the ability to track and document actions taken.
- Experience in simple networking tasks to support deployment/support/troubleshooting of a manufacturing plant such as TCP/IP, static vs DHCP setup on assets and VPN connectivity.

- Ability to demonstrate strong remote troubleshooting support skills especially in current circumstances where most users are working remotely
- Strong troubleshooting skills on Xerox managed devices and Zebra devices
- Ability to troubleshoot any security issues and run scans on malware infected machines.
