Summary of Position
Reporting to the Director, Administration, the Customer Service Specialist will support Clydes Donuts customers through phone, email and customer portals, and collaborate with our Clyde's supply chain, sales team and brokers to resolve customer and consumer issues. Clydes customers include large national and regional grocers, convenience store chains and independent grocers.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Manage inbound customer service phone and email inquiries.
- Ensure incoming purchase orders are processed accurately and efficiently to include correct pricing, pallet count, and delivery date, send order confirmations, process order changes, work with Supply Chain to ensure timely fulfillment & delivery or orders.
- Notify customers promptly about any shortages or supply delays that may impact service.
- Create excellent relationships with internal and external customers and be responsive to their needs.
- Handle customer/consumer complaints. Maintain Complaint Log. Work with Food Safety team to provide appropriate solutions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with Order Processing, Supply Chain, Sales, Brokers & various other departments to ensure we are providing excellent service to our valued customers.
- Work closely with IT on EDI or Customer Portal issues & requirements.
- Ensure customer database is kept up to date, add new customers and maintain current customer information in our ERP system.
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years of Customer Service experience in a professional office environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate level Excel skills required.
- Previous experience working with EDI is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, proactive in problem solving.

We Offer
Target compensation estimates are provided in good faith at the time of job posting. Job offers may vary based on the candidates education, certifications, job-related knowledge, skill, experience, geographic location, shift, and internal equity. Clydes may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
- Target base salary range: $55,000 to $65,000
- Position is eligible for annual bonus
The target total compensation estimate includes an estimated annual bonus paid at target. Bonus payments are contingent on the Company achieving budgeted benchmarks and individual attainment of performance goals.
