What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loan Servicing Assistant Trainee position at CNB Bank & Trust?
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Learn to perform loan booking, set-up, funding, and follow up (servicing) responsibilities associated with all aspects of post-closing procedures necessary in servicing and maintaining credit relationship of Bank's borrowers.
- Develop expertise in performing follow-up procedures for insurance requests to ensure receipt by insurer. Archive policy certificates for electronic document retention on Director. Ascertain level of insurance is appropriate and the Bank is listed as lien holder.
- Learn how to follow-up for replacement of canceled policies.
- Learn to prepare releases and satisfactions for loans. Learn to close paid file and release all necessary documentation.
- Learn to process, balance and post loan payments to computer system.
- Learn to process loan exception and tickler reports to verify loan posting accuracy and documentation tracking.
- Assist with inputting, review, maintaining and updating Lereta Real Estate Tax website for payment of real estate property taxes and tracking of delinquent taxes. Learn to monitor, review and resolve Lereta exceptions, identifying inconsistencies with respective counties.
- Assist with managing, processing and remitting Real Estate Property Taxes to relevant counties for escrowed customers via Lereta system.
- Learn to manage escrow accounts on Navigator including adding, removing, disbursements, and verification of annual escrow analysis data.
- Learn Daily Balancing; Develop ability to pay off loans through Freddie Mac.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

This full-time position is scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
