General Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations of Fort Worth's newest (and best) coffee - Coastal Coffee. As the business grows, we're excited to offer key members of our team performance bonuses.

We're looking for someone who enjoys being a swiss army knife -- you'll need to know how to be a barista, how to set schedules, and how to fill gaps as needed. Coastal Coffee is a coffee trailer, so its needs are a bit different than a regular shop. We'll expect you to grow comfortable with managing the trailer (it is stationary, and will not be moving to different locations).

Bonus points if you have opinions on grinders to use, coffees for us to wholesale, etc.

The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling, managing distributor relationships, and must be a people person. This role requires a hands-on approach to supervising staff, ensuring quality service, and maintaining operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the trailer
• Supervise staff and ensure adherence to food safety and handling standards
• Manage cash handling processes
• Implement operational policies and procedures to enhance service quality

Experience

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Experience in cash handling and financial management practices.
• Knowledge of food handling regulations and best practices in catering services.
• Proficiency in point-of-sale systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
