Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to the principal designer and ensure efficient operation in our showroom, Tuesday through Saturday.
Responsibilities
- Manage phone systems and direct calls to appropriate personnel
-Greet clients and provide showroom coverage
-Create purchase orders, receiving & vouchering products
- Assist with administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and organizing files & paperwork
- Support office management by handling incoming and outgoing correspondence
-Clean & maintain showroom to create compelling buying environment
-Able to lift 50 pounds
Requirements
- Proficient in time management to handle multiple tasks effectively
- Experience with excel spreadsheets
- Strong organizational skills to manage office operations efficiently
- Ability to handle various administrative tasks with attention to detail
- Familiarity with office procedures and protocols
-Some knowledge of kitchen & bath systems
-Additional skills: sales, design, math
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
Work Location: In person
