What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Chef position at Cobblestone Hotel & Suites?
Responsible for overseeing kitchen staff and ensuring the quality of food items. Their duties include training staff to cook their dishes, expediting orders to maintain a steady flow of dishes, and creating dishes to add to the menu when requested. Responsible for the production of high-quality food for our guests. Displays organizational and leadership qualities to ensure the kitchen runs optimally and patrons’ meals always exceed expectations.
Essential Functions (but not limited to):
- Adhere to all policies and procedures outlined in the brand manual, and ownership employee handbook.
- Answer and report to the Regional Director of Operations.
- Maintains a clean kitchen. Ensures all brand and local standards are followed.
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Responsible for inventory, ordering and scheduling.
