Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Architect to join our engineering firm. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in architectural design and project management, working closely with engineers, clients, and construction teams. This role involves overseeing the architectural aspects of engineering projects, ensuring designs align with engineering requirements while meeting regulatory standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design process from concept to completion for engineering projects
- Develop and review detailed architectural drawings, blueprints, and technical documents
- Coordinate with engineers across disciplines to ensure seamless project integration
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring all milestones are met
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into effective design solutions
- Oversee and mentor junior architects and drafting teams
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve design challenges, and provide technical guidance
- Utilize CAD and BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit) for design development and documentation
- Stay updated with the latest architectural trends, construction materials, and sustainable design practices
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural design, preferably in an engineering or multidisciplinary firm
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles
- Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction practices
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Architectural licensure is preferred but not required
