McBride Homes is seeking a talented and experienced Project Architect to join our architecture team. The ideal candidate will have heavy experience in residential designs, a passion for innovation, and strong leadership skills. As a Project Architect, you will play a critical role in the development and execution of residential project designs, collaborating with internal clients, designers, engineers, and the construction staff.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $115,000/yr. depending on experience and an annual, discretionary bonus program
Location: St. Louis, MO - Full-Time/On-Site
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the design and development of residential architectural projects from concept to completion
- Develop detailed architectural plans, construction drawings, and specifications
- Coordinate with in-house land development, design, estimating, purchasing, engineers, and field staff
- Proficiency in CAD software and ability to teach software libraries and efficiencies
- Quality control of all work by others and self-performed work
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure design compliance
Qualifications:
- Registered Architect or Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain licensure in the State of Missouri within 6 months of hiring
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed professional
- Proficiency in architectural design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Solid understanding of residential building codes and zoning ordinances
