What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Coordinator position at Coda Search│Staffing?
The Billing Coordinator position requires the individual to have strong communication skills to interact with customers by telephone and in writing. The ideal candidate should be competent using Google Suite and Excel and have strong math skills, a high attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Process both Steep Slope and Low Slope billing, along with special registers on a daily basis
- Process several different types of credits regularly, including warranty, Habitat for Humanity, deduction, and returned material credits
- Work closely with Pricing Administrators to resolve invoice issues related to quotes, temporary pricing and freight charges
- Report on unauthorized deductions created daily to Pricing Administrators and Manager
- Investigate deductions within 3 days to determine the reason for the deduction, working with internal and external customers to resolve deductions, including with Pricing Administrators and Sales representatives
- Maintain necessary data in PeopleSoft to follow up and keep track of all deductions
- Answering incoming phone calls and connecting customers to the correct department, when necessary
- Responding to emails sent to centralized Billing Team email box
Requirements:
- High School diploma is required, Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 2-5 years related experience.
- Excellent computer skills, customer service skills, and phone etiquette are required.
