Billing Coordinator – 3-Month Contract (Potential for Extension & Right-to-Hire)

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Billing Coordinator for a 3-month contract, with strong potential for extension and right-to-hire based on performance.

This is a high-volume, fast-paced administrative role that requires strong communication, math, and organizational skills. You will be handling repetitive tasks and managing a large volume of daily emails—over 200 per day—in a centralized inbox.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process billing for both Steep Slope and Low Slope, as well as special registers daily
• Regularly handle various credit types, including warranty, Habitat for Humanity, deduction, and returned materials
• Collaborate with Pricing Administrators to resolve invoice discrepancies (e.g., quotes, temporary pricing, freight charges)
• Report unauthorized deductions daily to Pricing Administrators and the Billing Manager
• Investigate and resolve deduction issues within 3 days, communicating with internal and external stakeholders including Sales teams
• Maintain deduction tracking and resolution data in PeopleSoft
• Answer incoming calls and redirect customers to appropriate departments as needed
• Respond promptly and professionally to a high volume of emails in the shared Billing Team inbox

Qualifications:

• High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in billing, accounting, or a related administrative role
• Strong math skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confident, coherent, and customer-service focused
• Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Excel
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Ability to balance asking for support with taking initiative

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
