The Opportunity:
An award-winning law firm is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join their team.
In this role, you'll have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting
and budgeting, and customer billing. You'll be in charge of handling Corporate Accounting functions as well as full lifecycle accounts payable. Knowledge of case costs and allocations in the legal industry is required.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Oversight of the Accounts Payable function, including processing invoices, credit card statements, expense report reimbursements, distributing wire payments
- Monitors the general ledger and inputs journal entries
- Assists with month-end and year-end closing, including financial reporting
- Assists with processing cash receipts
- Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5 years; of corporate accounting experience with a strong background in full cycle AP
- Previous legal industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of case costs and allocations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Concur
- Analytical-minded and highly organized
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
