What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Accountant - Account Payable position at H Mart?
Corporate Accountant - Accounts Payable (NJ) Bilingual (Korean, English)
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
• Process invoices from various locations for payment and makes good relationship with stores and vendors.
• Verify vendor accounts by reconciling weekly/monthly statements and related transactions.
• Document all accounts payable transactions and creating historical records by scanning documents.
• Monitor SAP vs. QB/B1 interface.
• Manage inter company transactions and monitoring AP/AR balance.
• Manage the daily cash position to balance in-flow and outflows.
• Manage fund control and review trade and expense payable.
• Perform monthly closing (GR/IR clearing).
• Work with internal and external auditors during review and audits to ensure full cooperation and compliance with qualified requests.
Qualifications/Skills:
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• Knowledge in SAP is preferred
• Experience in the related field is preferred
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting Economic, or a related field
Entry to experienced level in the field
CPA license is a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, etc.)
