Who We’re Looking For :
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Systems Analyst to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT systems management, excellent project management skills, and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with County departments, vendors, and external partners. This individual should possess strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Responsibilities :
Analyze, recommend, and test new technologies and enhancements to ensure compliance with IT security, compatibility, and standardization requirements.
Collaborate with County departments and external partners to understand technology needs and propose solutions aligned with their goals.
Assist in the creation and presentation of strategic IT plans, including 3-year and capital plans for assigned departments.
Lead IT initiatives, ensuring timely completion and alignment with project objectives.
Provide second-tier support for IT-related issues, including diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems.
Maintain high security standards for endpoint devices and ensure software licensing compliance.
Use automation tools for systemwide installations, configurations, and updates.
Develop and update training materials, documentation, and provide end-user training as needed.
Manage hardware inventory, software licensing, and vendor relationships.
Qualifications :
Education : Associate's or Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience : 2–3 years of IT experience, including :
Strong project management skills with proven organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficiency with imaging software and document management tools.
Knowledge of basic networking concepts (e.g., wireless, client / server topology).
Advanced troubleshooting skills, including root cause analysis and trend identification.
Strong customer-facing and communication skills (written and verbal).
Valid Driver’s License.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize responsibilities.
Familiarity with Windows 11, Apple iOS, and PDQ (application deployment and client management).
Advanced skills in using logging information to diagnose and resolve issues.
